The question you type is the most private thing in this app. This page says where it goes.

Your question leaves your device

To write the reading, the text of your question is sent to DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com), a language model service. It is sent for the category judgement, for the reading, and for every follow-up turn.

There is no "processed on device" way around this - the reading is what the model writes. If you would rather a piece of text never left your device, do not type it into the question.

What is stored on the server

Readings: the text of your question, the language, the category, the hexagram, the judgement, the reading and the follow-ups. Stored in Google Firestore under your account.

Account: anonymous by default, with none of your personal details. You may link a Google or Apple account - linking Apple gives us an email address, and you can use Apple's private relay instead of your own.

Purchases: the result of verifying a transaction with Google Play or the App Store, and how many readings you have left.

What is never sent

Nothing from a reading goes into analytics. We log funnel events with Firebase Analytics (such as "question submitted" or "cast finished"), but those events carry the event name and nothing else - no parameters, so no question text.

This website has no tracking scripts. Not one line of analytics.

The waitlist stores only your email, language, the time, and an unsubscribe token. No IP address, no referring page.

Crash reports (Crashlytics) are enabled in release builds only and carry a crash stack, never a reading.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your data.

We do not use your readings to target advertising.

We do not build cross-app profiles of you.

What you can do

Delete one reading: open it in the history and delete it. The server copy goes with it.

Delete your whole account: you can do it yourself on the account screen in the app - every reading under the account, the local copies on this phone, and the account itself. Any readings you have left, including ones you paid for, go with it. You can also write to tetralinks.tw@gmail.com and we will do it.

Leave the waitlist: every email has an unsubscribe link, or just write to us.
